We are hiring a Research Associate/Research Fellow in power systems to conduct research on energy management, electricity markets, renewable energy, smart grids and microgrids. The Research Associate/Research Fellow is also expected to support teaching activities as required by the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research on power systems topics such as energy management, electricity markets, renewable energy, smart grids and microgrids.

Publish in top quality journals and conferences.

Prepare report and conduct presentation at seminars.

Assist the school in various teaching activities, including instructing or supervision of labs and tutorials
Job Requirements:

MSc/MEng (Research Associate) or PhD (Research Fellow) in Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Expertise in electrical power systems.

Experience in energy management, smart grids and microgrids.

Proficient in MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar programming languages.

Experience in power systems simulation software packages such as MATLAB/Simulink or OPAL-RT.

Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.

Able to publish top quality conference/journal papers.

Good written and oral communication skills.
