Position Description: We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position focused on wireless communications for sensor systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of wireless communication modules for next-generation smart sensor platforms, targeting applications in harsh or remote environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement low-power wireless communication modules (e.g., LoRa, BLE, ZigBee, Wi-Fi, or custom RF protocols) for embedded sensor platforms.

Integrate and test wireless modules with sensor hardware for real-time data acquisition and transmission.

Conduct experimental validation and performance evaluation in lab and field environments.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including materials scientists, mechanical engineers, and computer scientists.

Prepare technical reports, journal publications, and contribute to proposal writing.
Required Qualifications:
-
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.

Strong expertise in wireless communications, particularly in protocol design, RF circuit design, or embedded system implementation.

Experience in developing wireless communication modules for sensors or IoT applications.

Proficiency in embedded systems programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, RTOS) and familiarity with hardware platforms such as STM32, ESP32, or similar.

Strong analytical skills and hands-on hardware debugging experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with wireless standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., FCC, CE).

Prior publications in IEEE journals or conferences related to wireless sensing or communications
