Assistant Professor in Software Engineering (Tenure-Track)

The Engineering Division at the Penn State School of Graduate Professional Studies is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor in Software Engineering, tenure-track appointment. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in software engineering, computer science or a closely related field; a record of research accomplishments in the field of software engineering; and the ability to teach software engineering related topics such as software project management, agile processes, requirements engineering, and software construction. The position will be available starting Fall 2018. Applications will be reviewed starting November 15, 2017. The search will remain open until the position is filled. Located 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia, the Penn State School of Graduate Professional Studies at Great Valley is a special mission campus of The Pennsylvania State University. The School`s online engineering programs are ranked #4 in the country by US News and World Report, and the software engineering program is ranked #1 in the US. The School enjoys a central location in a corporate center among world class corporate neighbors in a rapidly growing technological corridor. Our graduate students are working professionals.
