About the Job:
The Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at University of Minnesota Duluth seeks a postdoctoral associate to conduct research in the high flux gas dynamics area of study. The position is available immediately and open until filled.

Required Qualifications:
PhD in Mechanical Engineering, solid background in thermal-fluid sciences with particular focus on the heat transfer, and math. Excellent in development of massively parallel large eddy CFD simulations and heat transfer modeling of two-phase, chemically reacting, radiation heat transfer dominant processes for various solar reactor geometries. Highly motivated team player, fluent in English with good writing skills.

Responsibilities: Theoretical research in the field of high temperature solar thermochemical technology, development of massively parallel large eddy CFD simulations and heat transfer modeling of two-phase, chemically reacting, radiation heat transfer dominant processes for various solar reactor geometries, publications in refereed journals and conferences.
