The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences in the College of Engineering of the University of Michigan, an international leader in the field of nuclear engineering and radiological sciences, invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions. The appointments are anticipated to be at the tenure-track assistant or associate professor level. The research priority areas include fission reactor physics; reactor design and engineering; experimental material science/manufacturing; and sensing and radiation detection. However, outstanding applicants from all technical areas relevant to nuclear engineering and radiological sciences will be considered.

Applicants are expected to have demonstrated outstanding research and scholarship in their technical fields. In addition to conducting research, faculty members are expected to teach and mentor students at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and to supervise student research.
