We are hiring a Research Associate/Research Fellow in Information Engineering and Media to develop Machine Learning and AI algorithms for real-world and media-related applications. The Research Associate/Research Fellow is also expected to support teaching activities as required by the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, refine and implement Machine Learning and AI algorithms for real-world and media-related (e.g., video games) applications.

Conduct literature survey to find out the state-of-the-art Machine Learning and AI algorithms implemented in real-world and media-related (e.g., video games) applications.

Prepare report and conduct presentation at seminars.

Publish findings and results in conferences and journals, contributing to the research community.

Assist the school in various teaching activities, including instructing or supervision of labs and tutorials.

Assist in mentoring and guiding students in projects and competitions.
Job Requirements:

MSc/Meng (Research Associate) or PhD (Research Fellow) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields.

Proficient in common programming languages such as Java, C/C++ and Python.

Experience in developing and implementing Machine Learning and AI algorithms.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Good team player, self-driven and able to work independently.

Like to teach, guide and work with students.
