CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY, the Department of Building, Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for three one-year Limited Term Appointment (LTA) faculty members in the following areas: (i) Building Engineering; (ii) Environmental and Water Resources Engineering; and (iii) Structures and Construction Engineering. Applicants must possess a PhD or equivalent degree in Building Engineering or Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in diverse areas. The LTA will teach up to seven courses in the academic year, depending on the start date. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association is required.

The LTA appointments will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor, with a starting date of June 1, 2018 or soon thereafter. Applications should consist of a letter of intent, a current CV, a statement of teaching philosophy and interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness and the names of three referees. Only short-listed candidates will be notified. Knowledge of the French language is an asset.
