Each position will provide up to 3 years of salary support with benefits, and start Fall 2017. Both positions involve developing tools to better model or measure processes related to radiation, water transport, CO2/H20 vapor fluxes, or photosynthesis.

Available positions:
1. This position will focus on using thermographic imagery along with high-resolution three-dimensional models to rapidly infer almond tree water status.

2. This position will focus on developing and using detailed, three-dimensional models of radiation, microclimate, water transport, and photosynthesis to better understand how canopy architecture affects the interactions between almond trees and their environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of PhD degree by position start date in relevant field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming, or strong programming skills in other languages.
