Short-term internship available at Department of Chemical Engineering, National Taiwan University (2 MS and 2 Ph.D. students required)

For enhancing the relationship between India and Taiwan, Electro-Optical Materials and Semiconductor Devices Lab at National Taiwan University, Taiwan (NTU) have two internship openings for currently pursuing master students of Chemical Engineering as well as two internship openings for Ph.D. students from Indian universities for the period of four months.

This program enables the students to gain firsthand experience in academic research and education. Electro-Optical Materials and Semiconductor Devices Lab is focused on designing, synthesizing, and understanding materials with an emphasis on Li-ion battery materials, supercapacitors, phosphors, solar cells, and for practical applications. The selected candidates are required to work in following research area: a. Lithium ion Batteries/Supercapacitors b. Phosphor materials c. Nanomaterials

Short-term internship Opening:

1. Two Ph.D. students (related to research area)
a) Stipend 15000 NTD/month by the government and extra remuneration by the professor at NTU
b) Travel allowances supported by the professor at NTU
c) Accommodationsupported by National Taiwan University
d) Tuition feewaived by National Taiwan University

  1. The research period is 4 months. The candidates need to come to Taiwan before November 30, 2017.

2. Two MS Students (only for the students at Department of Chemical Engineering)
a) Stipend 15000 NTD/month by the government
b) Travel allowances supported by the professor at NTU
c) Accommodationsupported by National Taiwan University
d) Tuition feewaived by National Taiwan University

  1. The research period is 4 months. The candidates need to come to Taiwan before November 30, 2017.


#We welcome and encourage the MS students to study the Ph.D. course at Department of Chemical Engineering, NTU, Taiwan after this short-term internship.
