A postdoc position with the secure communications research group at the US Army Research Laboratory is available immediately.
Specific topics of focus are secret key establishment and management in austere communication environments consisting of both quantum and traditional channels, where both practical aspects and a fundamental information-theoretic understanding will be considered.
The appointment will be for a period of 12 months initially, with a possibility for renewal. We are looking for strong applicants with an excellent theoretical background and a proven capacity for high-quality research in the form of a strong publication record.
