Research Opportunity

Work description

  • Development of an interaction interface that will function as a personal assistant in conjunction with an electronic training platform, using pre-trained large-scale language models (LLM);
  • Implement the software module;
  • Perform usability tests of the module;
  • Write the grant activity report.

 

Academic Qualifications

Degree in Degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering or similar

 

Minimum profile required

  • Proven experience in Android Studio and Kotlin;
  • Experience with git;
  • Degree average greater than or equal to 14 (scale from 0-20);

 

Preference factors

  • Experience in using relational databases;
  • Experience in programming wearable devices;
  • Experience in web technologies;
  • Experience with Python;
  • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence algorithms;
  • Experience with design interface tools (example Figma);

 

Maintenance stipend: € 601,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

 

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC
