    Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and strong tradition in research.

    To support teaching and cutting-edge research, EEE is host to 11 advanced research centres and more than 60 laboratories, which are well-equipped with modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.

    The school is comprised of six divisions, namely the Divisions of Power Engineering, Circuits & Systems, Information Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Communication Engineering and Microelectronics.

    With about 200 faculty members and an enrollment of around 5,000, of which 1,500 are graduate students, it is one of the largest EEE schools in the world.

    [b]Job Description:[/b]

    You should possess the expertise to operate the MOCVD, as well as good knowledge regarding the epitaxial growth of III-Nitrides (InGaN, AIGaN and InAlGaN) and broadly defined related areas of optoelectronics, photonics, semiconductors, devices, lighting, displays and so on. You will be expected to work independently and conduct research in a highly interdisciplinary environment with scientists and students representing a variety of different backgrounds, skill sets and experience levels.

    [b]Job Requirements:[/b]

    • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical/Photonics/Material Engineering or Physics;
    • Good experience and background knowledge regarding MOCVD;
    • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills;
    • Strong analytical and conceptual ability; and,
    • Able to work independently or in a team, in the realization of R&D work.
