Job To Refer:	Multiple Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations (AIM-HI) National Chung Cheng University The Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations (AIM-HI), National Chung Cheng University (CCU), Taiwan, is excited to announce the recruitment of outstanding foreign scholars and potential young scholars for multiple Postdoctoral Research Associate positions. Projects undertaken at AIM-HI will involve research and development of key technologies for next-generation machine tools for green and manufacturing systems. Beyond direct applications to precision machining, the technologies developed are expected to find productive applications in other systems, too, including intelligent robots and vehicles, eco-friendly fabrication processes in the semiconductor and flat panel display industries (the two major industries in Taiwan, generating total revenues of trillions of NT dollars each), as well as the emerging green energy industry. We encourage scholars who wish to work on projects dealing with advanced manufacturing technologies related to green manufacturing systems to apply. Qualifications for Each Position: 1) Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science and information engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, opto-mechatronics or related fields. 2) Four or fewer years of experience. 3) In-depth knowledge of advanced machine tool technologies, precision molding, smart materials, thin film coatings, smart controls, bio-inspired approaches, green manufacturing and leading-edge process, rolling and forging technology. 4) Experience with optimal machine design, experimental and theoretical analysis for feed drive systems in machine tools and academic publication/s in related fields will be a plus.
