The Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineering Program at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, invites applications for two Tenure-track Faculty Positions, starting in Fall 2010, one in Electrical Engineering and one in Computer Engineering.
The successful candidate for each position will have a commitment to teaching Undergraduate Engineering courses, the ability to develop a sustainable research program and serve on University and Department committees.
Salary is competitive.
A candidate for the Electrical Engineering position should have a research background in one of the following areas: Renewable and Conventional Electrical Energy Systems, Electrical Energy Conversion or Controls.
A candidate for the Computer Engineering position should have a research background in the Application of Embedded Systems or Hardware/Software Co-design.
Candidates with industry experience are encouraged to apply.
A successful candidate must be comfortable teaching a variety of courses in the Undergraduate Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum.
A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field is required and rank is commensurate with experience.
