Architecture: The Department of Islamic Architecture at Umm Al-Qura University, invites applications for the following faculty position in the area of Architecture:
(i) A position at the Assistant Professor level (male faculty member) -- Job #1051/EngAr
Computer-Aided Architectural Design: The Department of Islamic Architecture at Umm Al-Qura University, invites applications for the following faculty position in the area of Computer-Aided Architectural Design:
(i) A position at the Associate Professor level (male faculty member) -- Job #434/EngAr
General: The positions are for the Academic Year 2010 - 2011 (starting September 2010).
Candidates for the above positions should possess Ph.D. degrees in Architecture. Research and/or teaching experience relevant to the positions will be looked at favorably.
Salaries are commensurate with education and experience.
Successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their field(s), as well as fundamental courses in Architecture, participate in program development and be active in research.
Applicants are expected to have strong commitment to scholarly work and research that will lead to scholarly publications.
