The School of Materials Science and Engineering is looking for highly motivated and experienced candidate to join us as a Research Associate. The candidate shall support the research program Principal Investigator in managing and driving the research activities with special emphasis on developing technologies to remediate and/or transform industrial sludge into value-added products.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and conduct research experiments focusing on the conversion of industrial sludge into safe, nutrient-rich agricultural products.

Develop and optimize processes for the extraction of valuable components from industrial sludge.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the agronomic effectiveness of the developed products.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards throughout the research and development process.

Analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders and at relevant conferences.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to waste conversion and sustainable agriculture.
Job Requirements:
-
Master’s in Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related field.

Proven experience in research and development, particularly in waste conversion, hydrometallurgy, or agricultural product development.

Strong understanding of chemical analysis techniques and laboratory safety protocols.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
