Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow opening with Prof. Anson Ma of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department and the Institute of Materials Science (IMS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn). The postdoc fellow will also serve as the Site Technical Program Manager for a recently established National Science Foundation (NSF) SHAP3D Center for Additive Manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities:
(1) To design and perform additive manufacturing research for several industry-funded projects;
(2) Train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students;
(3) Assist with proposal preparation, industry engagement for the SHAP3D Center, and new project launches.

Required Qualifications: PhD in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a related discipline. Prior experience with additive manufacturing, which includes but not limited to inkjet printing, fused deposition modeling and binder-jetting, is required and should be highlighted in the cover letter.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
