JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Artificial Intelligence and Modeling Laboratory for Cardiovascular Diseases (AIMCardio) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking outstanding candidates to fill the position of Research Technician.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize computational algorithms to analyze fluid mechanics, or
- Improve web-based clinical decision support system, or
- Process medical images, or
- Conduct experimental fluid mechanics
and
- Conduct various team-oriented procedures within the overall scope of a research project.
- Publish findings and algorithms in conference proceedings and high-impact research journals.
- Work on innovation-oriented technological projects with potential for commercialization.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have background in Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical or Medical Engineering/Science or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a university-level research lab and environment.
- Proficiency in programming with Python or PHP.
- or
- Prior experience in handling medical images
