The FCAAP and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the FAMU-FSU joint College of Engineering are seeking Graduate Research Assistant for an AFOSR-funded project to develop the Next-Generation Technology for future aircrafts.

This role combines experimental fluid mechanics, aeroacoustics, boundary layer transition, and metamaterial development.

The candidate will combine theory, testing, data management, spatial and spectral analysis. Responsibilities include programming, measurements of flow, acoustics, and pressure, CAD design, spatial analysis, and boundary layer theory. Working closely with Dr. Burak Tuna and Dr. Rajan Kumar, this role will contribute to Next-Generation Passive Boundary Layer Control Strategy with close collaboration with AFRL Team.
