Research Opportunities

Smart medical devices (signal processing and programming).

 

Work description

Research and development of algorithms for analyzing physiological signals acquired by devices with integrated sensors, which will perform electrocardiography, electromyography and movement measurements, among others, during everyday activities. The aim is to identify characteristics and recognize personalized patterns, through artificial intelligence methods, to classify and evaluate different pathologies objectively for early detection or follow-up monitoring.

Collaboration in a research, development and innovation project, in the healthcare sector, to create smart devices with biometric, physiological and movement sensing. Collaborate with project partners in signal collection and database organization. Collaborate in the writing of scientific articles, patent proposals and work reports.

 

Academic Qualifications

BSc in Biomedical Eng. or related areas. MSc student in Biomedical Eng. or related areas.

 

Minimum profile required

Good knowledge of programming and signal processing.

 

Preference factors

Knowledge in Machine Learning.
