The Applied Electromagnetics Research Group at the ECE department of NC A&T State University at Greensboro, NC, is looking for a strongly self-motivated graduate student to join the research group under doctoral program in electrical engineering. The research will focus on electromagnetics, antennas, RF and microwave circuits and wireless communication. Financial supports including tuition support and monthly stipends will be provided for the student.
1. Familiar with EM simulation software (HFSS, XFDTD or CST) and RF design software, such as ADS.
2. Familiar with electromagnetics and microwave theory.
3. Strong interest in academic research in the above mentioned field.
4. A prior master degree in electrical engineering is a plus.
