Work description
This position will focus on improving the quality, maintainability, and long-term viability of software prototypes developed within our research center. As part of our team, you will engage with a wide range of internal software projects - enhancing documentation, verifying system functionality, and establishing best practices.
You will also play a key role in onboarding new team members by helping to prepare and deliver training sessions, ensuring that the standards we set today will guide the center’s work for years to come.
Minimum profile required
- Proficiency on scripting and programming languages (Python, Javascript, C++).
- Experience with Git (Version Control System).
- Experience with GitHub or GitLab platforms.
Preference factors
- Familiarity with automated code quality and security tools Experience with CI/CD pipelines Insights into open-source licensing and compliance.
Maintenance stipend: € 1259,64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.
INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".
The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
