Montana Technological University invites applications for a faculty position within the Electrical Engineering Department at the Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor-of-Practice level.  For the Assistant Professor level, a PhD in EE or related field completed by January 2024 is required.  For the Assistant Professor-of-Practice level, an MS or higher in EE or related field is required along with 10 years of recent industrial experience.  All candidates must have the ability to obtain a PE or EIT license in the state of Montana.  The department offers the BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering.  Montana Tech is a special focus university with a reputation for excellence located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.  The department has a strong commitment to undergraduate education and maintains externally funded research programs in power systems and control systems.
