The Mechanical Engineering Department offers BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has an undergraduate and graduate enrollment of about 1200 students. The department consists of 29 full-time faculty members, and state-of-the-art laboratories that support teaching and scholarship in the areas of advanced mobility, alternative energy and fuel cells, automotive systems, crash safety, bioengineering, and machine design.
