The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University invites applications for a lecturer position starting immediately. Candidates with interests and expertise in dynamic systems and controls, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and advanced mobility systems are encouraged to apply. Required qualifications include: M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; ability to teach undergraduate courses; experience and excellence in teaching and working with students; experience with MATLAB and simulation software; good oral and written communication skills in the English language; and proof of legal authority to work at Kettering University.

The Mechanical Engineering Department offers BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering and has an undergraduate and graduate enrollment of about 1200 students. The department consists of 29 full-time faculty members, and state-of-the-art laboratories that support teaching and scholarship in the areas of advanced mobility, alternative energy and fuel cells, automotive systems, crash safety, bioengineering, and machine design.
