Visiting Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering

This Visiting Assistant Professor faculty position is expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
Candidates should demonstrate an interest in enhancing student centered teaching activities, and supporting courses with hand-on laboratory components.
Individuals with experience in teaching core engineering disciplines (computer programming, modeling and simulation, transport, materials, mechanics etc.) and relating engineering principles across multiple disciplinary areas are encouraged to apply.
It is expected that the candidate will provide outstanding teaching and support the pedagogical mission of the department and the college. The College of Engineering is actively seeking to increase diversity within the College.
Prior experience and a commitment to continue working with or teaching diverse groups and students will be valued.

Candidates are expected to have a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related discipline, although candidates with a master’s degree and teaching experience may be considered.
