Florida International University invites applications for one non-Tenure Track Research Assistant Professor position in the Transforming Antennas Center (TAC) at FIU in the College of Engineering and Computing. TAC is devoted to world-class research in foldable, deployable, reconfigurable, and multifunctional electromagnetic systems.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering and expertise in the areas of computational electromagnetics and/or antennas.
Successful candidates will be expected to produce high quality research at TAC, show excellence in their scholarly activities and perform the following duties:
Conduct research on antennas, electromagnetics and computational electromagnetics
Publish research results in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences on antennas and electromagnetics, and
Teach classes related to antennas, microwave engineering and/or electromagnetics
