The University of Florida has multiple Faculty positions in Material Science and Engineering and Nuclear Engineering

The University of Florida’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering and Nuclear Engineering program has two active searches for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is among the largest in the nation, provides a vibrant, multidisciplinary, and highly collaborative environment, and consistently ranks among the top departments for graduate and undergraduate programs. The Nuclear Program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is a dynamic program built around leading expertise and facilities that are poised to influence the future of Nuclear Engineering. The available positions are in: Polymers or Electronic/Photonic Materials; and artificial intelligence (AI) as applied to all areas of Nuclear Engineering.   • For the Polymers or Electronic/Photonic Materials Search: We are particularly interested in the areas of synthesis, processing, manufacturing, design, and physics.
