Job Description Summary
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the field of computer engineering beginning with the Fall 2025 semester. The individual selected for this position will be expected to contribute to the growth of the computer engineering program, develop and secure funding for a strong research program, collaborate with other faculty on a number of interdisciplinary research projects, and teach courses in the computer engineering area.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related field at the time employment begins. The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment. Excellent communication skills are required.
Desired Qualifications
Priority will be given to candidates specializing in the core hardware areas of computer engineering, including VLSI technology, the computer aided design (CAD) of systems-on-chips, and computer system architecture.
