The Cedarville University School of Engineering and Computer Science seeks faculty applicants in mechanical engineering. This is a tenure-track eligible faculty position. Applications at the Assistant or Associate Professor level are preferred, although strong candidates may be considered for appointment at the Professor level.
Candidates are sought with expertise in the areas of solid modeling, mechanics, mechanical design, and vibrations. Highly qualified candidates whose expertise lies in other areas of mechanical engineering may also be considered.
Qualifications for this faculty position include a doctorate in mechanical engineering or related discipline, and a proven record of teaching. A working knowledge of computational software such as Solid Works, Abaqus, and Matlab is considered essential for the position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses and laboratories in a variety of mechanical engineering areas and advise senior design projects.
The School of Engineering and Computer Science is housed in a modern facility with extensive state-of-the-art laboratories and offers ABET-accredited BSCpE, BSEE, BSME, and BS degree in Computer Science as well as a newly-started BSCE degree program.

* Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or closely related sub-field
