Three tenure-track positions: Very Large-Scale Integrated Circuits (VLSI), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Software Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University of Beirut invites applications for three tenured or tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in the areas of (1) Very Large-Scale Integrated Circuits (VLSI), (2) Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and (3) Software Engineering.
The successful candidate must hold a doctorate in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. Faculty are expected to teach and conduct research in their areas of specialty, with emphasis on Low-Power VLSI Design, 3D Integrated Circuits, Neuromorphic and Brain-Inspired Computing, Hardware Security, Signal Processing and Communication Circuits, Machine Learning Hardware Acceleration, Post-CMOS Devices (e.g., Memristors), VLSI Design Automation, and AI-Driven VLSI Design; Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning; and software engineering and programming languages.
