We are looking for PhD students at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. The currently available collaborative projects are funded by the Office of Naval Research with emphases on
Nanomanufacturing of graphene-metal composites for high strength, high power, and high temperature applications.
For domestic Ph.D. students, you will be considered for Dean’s Fellowship. The prestigious fellowship provides tuition, health insurance and $30,000 of annual support (https://graduate.engineering.asu.edu/fellowships/deans-fellowship/).
While working on the project, the candidates will work with leading material scientists, electrical and mechanical engineers at both ASU as well as US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). US citizen or permanent resident candidates will have unique opportunities to visit NRL in Washington, DC and directly interact with NRL research scientists.
