The Howard University Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full time tenure-track Computer Engineering assistant professor position starting August 2024. To complement the expertise of current faculty, address areas of strong interest to students, and enhance collaboration opportunities with local industries, the department is particularly interested in candidates with research and teaching expertise in digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and VLSI implementation that include chip design, verification, tape-out, and post-silicon validation experiences at advanced technology nodes. Other focus areas could include emerging hardware, computer architectures and memory designs such as nanoelectronics materials and devices, neuromorphic systems, and processing-in-memory systems.
