Multiple MS/PhD openings are available at the newly formed Extended Reality Flight Simulation and Control Lab within the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University. Research topics include human-machine interaction, innovative pilot cueing methods, and development of advanced flight control laws for vehicles including, but not limited to, fixed-wing aircraft, rotorcraft, and flapping-wing MAVs. Funding opportunities are available for students with an interest in aerospace vehicles modeling and simulation, flight dynamics and control, system identification, and scientific programming. Candidates are invited to contact Dr. Umberto Saetti at their earliest convenience at firstname.lastname@example.org including their CV, research interest, and experience (if any).
