The College of Engineering, Design and Computing invites applications for positions at all ranks and is especially interested in applications from women and underrepresented minorities with teaching and research interests in biomedical engineering and health technology. These positions are part of a strategic initiative to grow research and education in health technologies and systems across the college. Positions are available in the Departments of Bioengineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Successful applicants will be homed in one of these departments and expected to build an impactful research program through a new bioengineering research and innovation center that will launch this year with a physical home on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Successful candidates will be expected to develop a competitive extramurally-sponsored research program as well as collaborations across both the Downtown campus and Anschutz Medical Campus. Teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level is expected.

A Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field and demonstrated expertise in biomedical engineering or health technology systems as evidenced by the candidate’s publication and funding record.
For the position homed in Bioengineering, preference will be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience.
