Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Western New England University seeks applications for a tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in the Fall of 2023.
Western New England University has a vibrant undergraduate mechanical engineering program that emphasizes industrially relevant research and design, as well as active Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) programs. The program prides itself on delivering a high-quality engineering education while providing strong mentorship to students. The ME department maintains strong relationships with regional and national industries and corporations.

Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and should have expertise and a proven track record of accomplishment in the areas of Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics. Experience with experimental techniques is a plus. The successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Mechanical Engineering; pursue scholarly and funded research activities; and support our innovative freshman engineering program.
