I’m recruiting Ph.D. students (fully funded) to join my research group in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Utah State University (USU). The admitted students will work on computational studies of functional materials (energy storage materials/functional polymers) to (i) elucidate the underlying physics of materials deformation and failure, (ii) design new materials, and (iii) design for manufacturing. The research will be built upon multiscale computations and data-driven modeling (Uncertainty Quantification & machine learning).
Admission requirements can be found at https://engineering.usu.edu/mae/students/graduate/apply.
Interested candidates, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and transcript.
