The position will report to the Deputy Director of the Center for Electromechanics and be responsible for the high-quality contributions to the experimental research of the Center. The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, well organized, and skilled at generating the support of both academic and industrial researchers to help develop and maintain a recognized world-class academic electromechanics research capability. This is a research position. Consequently, the successful candidate will be interested in adopting their skills to a changing set of applications to develop power system modeling and simulation capabilities to evaluate electromechanical system performance. The incumbent will work with students, post-docs, other Center researchers, and academic faculty to carry out significant research.
