Project overview: The integration of renewable energy and energy storage devices in industrial parks allows the implementation of innovative management strategies as well as the increase of the associated reliability by means of islanding operation of the system. In this scenarios, it is therefore necessary to develop the supporting tools as well as its validation through numerical simulation.
Academic Qualifications: Master Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum Profile required: Background in electric power systems (integration of distributed generation in electric power systems, dynamic and steady simulation of electric power systems with renewables); Fluency in English
Preference factors: Experience in the development of dynamic simulation models for different renewable energy sources in Matlab/Simulink; Exp. in electric power systems stability studies; Fluency in Portuguese
Monthly Grant: €980,00 (MSC) according to the Stipends values of the grants awarded directly by the FCT
