We are hiring a Research Associate or Research Fellow in theoretical computer science to develop algorithms and/or data structures, to further our understanding of what is possible in various computation models. The Research Associate/Research Fellow is also expected to support teaching activities as required by the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop algorithms and/or data structures, along with appropriate computation models.

  • Perform empirical validation of the algorithms and data structures developed.

  • Prepare papers and conduct presentations at seminars.

  • Assist the school in various teaching activities, including instructing or supervision of labs and tutorials.

Job Requirements:

  • MSc (Research Associate) or PhD (Research Fellow) in Mathematics or Computer Science or closely related fields.

  • Ability to design and implement advanced algorithms and data structures.

  • Independent and meticulous.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
