The research is in the areas of computational heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and turbulence. Research projects will involve interdisciplinary investigations of various transport phenomena in the atmospheric boundary layer with a focus on natural disasters.
Applicants with M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, or Atmospheric Sciences with a background in CFD are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience, especially in heat transfer, turbulence, and programming is highly desirable. Review of applications will begin immediately.
