Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The College of Engineering is seeking to fill a tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Duties include the following:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Powers Systems, Power Electronics and basic Electrical Engineering courses
  • Supervise graduate students and conduct a vigorous, self-reliant research program
  • Advise undergraduate and graduate students
  • Conduct research in the field of specialization

Qualifications

  • Must have a BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Must have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with concentration in Power Systems and Power Electronics
  • Experience in securing funded basic and applied research is desirable
  • Industrial experience is desirable

Salary Commensurate with education, training and experience
