Job description:
Work Area: Communication Science
Project overview: (Maternity Leave Cover) The work plan is part of the functional area of Communication at INESC TEC.
Objectives: Organisation of external and internal institutional events. Production of content related to science communication (e.g., pieces
about technologies, projects, etc.). Activities related to the dissemination of results from European projects (e.g., Horizon Europe) via several
media; writing news and newsletters, updating website content, managing social media, producing podcasts, supporting event organization,
producing multimedia contacts (video and photography), etc., and respective analysis of results, through the regular elaboration and
presentation of performance reports. Social media management and KPI analysis.

Academic Qualifications: Bachelor or Master's degree in Communication Science, Science Communication, or similar.
Minimum profile required: A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles (production of content - written and audiovisual; and social
media management). Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written) and in Wordpress content
administration.
Preference factors: Education in Science Communication; Master's degree; Professional experience in the Science & Technology
area; experience in writing comprehensive pieces about science and technology topics; experience in
European projects (e.g., H2020); experience working with multimedia tools (e.g.: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe
Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.).

Type of contract: fixed-term contract
The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed-term employment contracts and by INESC TEC
norms.
