Professor Eunsung Kan’s lab is looking for a talented and ambitious postdoctoral researcher in one or more of the following areas: anaerobic digestion, syngas and anaerobic fermentation, biofuels and bioproducts from various wastes, advanced wastewater treatment and biochar technology.
The postdoctoral researcher will conduct a fundamental and applied research on treatment of agricultural wastewater and conversion of agricultural waste to valuable products as Texas A&M University Chancellor Research Initiative Program at Tarleton State University/Texas A&M AgriLife Research Center.
Required Education: Ph.D. in biological engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or any relevant disciplines.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Gas chromatography with multiple detectors (FID, TCD), High performance liquid chromatography, GC/MS, LC/MS, genetic tools (PCR, DGGE, gene cloning), and statistical analysis.
