Southern Arkansas University (SAU) is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the College of Science and Engineering. The computer science program offers BS and MS degrees with emphasis in Cyber Security, Data Science, and Gaming and Animation. Candidates in all areas of computer science will be considered, though the department is particularly interested in the area of Cyber Security and Machine Learning.

Duties: Teach both undergraduate and/or graduate computer science courses; engage in recruitment, retention, advising, scholarly activity, undergraduate research, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Doctoral degree in computer science preferred; ABD may be considered; ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students; excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others; strong desire to interact in student activities; commitment to professional development.
