The Department of Civil Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan is inviting applications for assistant, associate, or full professor positions, with appointments starting on February 1 or August 1, 2025. We are seeking candidates with expertise in hydraulic engineering or ocean engineering. The successful candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to develop a robust and independent research agenda, offer courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide students mentorship. Situated on the Chiaotung Campus, our department’s Hydraulic and Ocean Engineering Program is well recognized with legacy strengths in the studies of hydraulic engineering, water resources engineering, coastal engineering, environmental seismology, flood simulation, and ocean renewables.
