The Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking outstanding candidates for two (2) instructor or lecturer positions to teach Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) courses. These are nine-month, non-tenure-earning positions commencing August 2020. A supplemental summer appointment may be made following an assessment of performance and the teaching needs of the program.
The responsibilities of the lecturer will be to teach a full time academic load, which consists of up to four courses per semester. The courses may include a variety of topics in our undergraduate Information Technology programs. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, conducting required academic performance assessments, and development of instructional content for course enhancement.

A Ph.D. (for lecturer) or M.S. (for instructor) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline. The required degree must be earned by the time of the appointment.
