The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), in the College of Engineering at Tennessee Tech University (TTU), Cookeville, TN, invites applications for a three-year, temporary, non-tenure track Lecturer position to begin August 2019. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering and assist with Capstone Design projects. Qualified candidates must possess a B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, an M.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field, and clearly demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence in a variety of courses in the TTU ECE Department. Excellent communication and writing skills are also required. Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field, have some prior teaching or industrial experience, and possess the ability to teach fundamental courses in Electrical Engineering. Laboratory teaching experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) will be preferable.
The ECE Department, with about 400 undergraduate and 50 graduate students and 14 faculty positions, provides an exciting environment for lecturer growth and development.
