Research Directions: Dynamics and Control of High-End Equipment: Dynamics design of high-end equipment systems, high-performance active vibration reduction, electromagnetic drive platform design, mechatronic co-simulation and digital twin of high-end equipment, analysis and design of nano-precision coarse-fine motion stages, machine learning and artificial intelligence, software development, etc. Precision Drive and Motion Control: High-precision motion control and testing, high-performance motor servo drive, six-degree-of-freedom magnetic levitation platform drive and control, lithography machine whole machine control and in-loop testing system, etc. Intelligent Mobile-Manipulation Robots: Bio-mechanics and design of intelligent mobile-manipulation robots (including but not limited to humanoid robots, multi-legged mobile robots, wheel-leg compound mobile robots, cross-medium compound mobile robots, underwater unmanned systems, etc.), integrated planning of motion and manipulation, high-dynamic full-body coordinated control, motion-manipulation skill learning, task decision-making and reasoning, multi-modal perception and understanding, autonomous navigation, swarm planning and collaborative control, embodied intelligence, etc.

Academician Chen Xuedong is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the head of the High-End Equipment Dynamics Design and Control Team. The team currently has six professors, one assistant researcher, five engineers and research assistants, 38 doctoral students, and 40 master's students. Since its establishment, the team has faced the world's scientific and technological frontiers, the main economic battlefield, and the major national needs. Targeting the dynamics design and control of mechanical systems, it has undertaken nearly a hundred projects or topics from the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), the National High-Tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Science and Technology Major Projects, and the national defense programs. It has solved key technical problems such as the motion precision of nano-precision manufacturing equipment, the operational safety of large-scale heavy-duty equipment, the service stability of advanced airborne instrument equipment, and the all-round mobility of mobile robots. The relevant achievements have supported the development of major national equipment and strategic projects, meeting the urgent needs of the country. Postdoc Benefits
The employment term is for a minimum of 2 years, with an annual salary ranging from 250,000 to 400,000 yuan. Postdoctoral fellows will be eligible for various achievement awards based on their contributions and will be given priority in recommending for national and local talent programs.
