Assistant/Associate Professor in Bioengineering at The University of Toledo

The Department of Bioengineering in the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo is seeking an outstanding scholar and educator to fill one full-time, tenure-track/tenured faculty position beginning Fall 2019. Applicants must have research and teaching interests in the broad areas of biomechanics, nanotechnology, or artificial organs; although other areas will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor; however, established candidates at higher tenured ranks will also be considered. Applicants for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Bioengineering or other engineering discipline related to their area of research. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the potential to conduct pioneering research, establish a vibrant externally-funded research program, teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses and laboratories, interact with students at all levels, supervise graduate student research, work collaboratively with other University of Toledo faculty, and actively engage in scholarly and professional service activities.
