A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Advanced Sensor Technology Lab (ASTL) at the University of Texas Arlington, starting October 2018 (website: astl.uta.edu). The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on the general area of guided wave based structural health monitoring. The applicant must have a strong background in structural dynamics or solid mechanics. Proficiency in analytical formulation and programming of continuum mechanics problems is required. Experience with experiment methods, data analysis, or system identification is a plus.
The position will be a one year appointment, with the possibility of extension up to three years.
